Sace

Involving employees in telling the company’s story to potential new talent.

Internal engagement and co-creation / Communications strategy / Training

Brief

SACE is Italy’s export credit agency, supporting businesses with a range of tools and solutions to promote competitiveness in Italy and globally.

The company asked Lundquist to help define the structure and content strategy for the “People” section of its website, aiming to highlight the value of its employees and attract new talent.

Our Work

As SACE’s partner for over eight years, we have supported the revision of their website and corporate communication. By organising a workshop for this task we managed to involve SACE employees of varying seniority and functions in the co-creation process of the new section.

A full day of group activities served to uncover the company’s unique qualities and collaboratively design the best solution to meet the needs of various stakeholders.

Result

Bringing together employees from different functions to discuss themes and issues related to the future of work and what matters most to them has resulted in a genuine shift in perspective. This change has led to a more “outside-in” approach, focusing on the needs of site visitors rather than the site’s creators.

The atmosphere of mutual listening, facilitated by cross-departmental collaboration, enabled a new approach to designing the content. SACE demonstrated its ability to empathise with stakeholders and listen to their needs, showing through concrete actions what it communicates, fostering relationships and giving space and voice to employees who see themselves reflected in the company’s story.

The positive experience prompted SACE to subsequently apply this approach to communicating sustainability information.
