Brand identity, website and content for a new, industry-led sustainability initiative.
Sustainability strategy and communications / New Website / Graphic design
Brief
The Furniture Pact is an industry-led, collaborative initiative that promotes and upholds common sustainability goals for the furniture sector in Italy, including its value chain.
Supported by shared expertise and the methodological rigour of SDA Bocconi’s Sustainability Lab, the Pact’s members aim to take the lead in reducing the sector’s impact on the environment and society with targets covering circularity, climate impacts, energy efficiency, community and people.
Lundquist was selected to support the set-up of the Pact, administration and co-ordination of activities. Within this, we have been looking after the Pact’s communications.
Our Work
Within a month of the association’s foundation, a complex process co-ordinated by Lundquist, we developed the Furniture Pact’s brand identity, a one-page website in Italian and English and other presentation material that was required for the launch.
The website and brand identity were developed in line with the Pact’s values and manifesto. The involvement of numerous members made the co-ordination and approval processes fundamental; still, the website went live ahead of major industry events.
Result
A wordmark logo was the preferred choice for the Furniture Pact given its need to build brand recognition and grow its members. A bold colour palette has been used to make the Pact stand out from other sustainability initiatives that tend to favour more muted tones.
The presentation was created with the new brand identity and ties together the various elements and messages that need to be communicated to potential new members, the media and other stakeholders.
