Lundquist Wikipedia Research
Since 2008, the Lundquist Wikipedia Research tracks how Wikipedia covers major corporations as part of our research series on online corporate information. Based on a decade of ongoing research in the field, as well as positive feedback and results, we have developed a set of guidelines on how companies can properly engage on Wikipedia.
Our aim is to help companies understand how Wikipedia works and affects their online presence, as well as support them in contributing to the free encyclopedia, abiding by its rules, in order to improve the quality of company-related information.

Companies that are willing to correctly engage with the encyclopedia can evolve into trustworthy and respectful members of the community.

In this whitepaper, we present the interplay between Wikipedia and companies in Europe. In a similar fashion to the Webranking research, this report includes the ranking of the top 100 European companies, the top 100 in Italy, the top 30 in Germany and top 48 in Switzerland.
