This week the award bells have been ringing, and Lundquist is proud to have won, alongside its clients Edison, Juventus and Telecom Italia all three awards in the categories it was shortlisted for at Communicate Magazine’s Corporate & Financial Awards 2015.
Taking place on the 7 July at the Marriot Hotel in Grosvenor Square in London, Lundquist joined 300 representatives of agency and in-house communications firms from all over the world to celebrate excellence in all aspects of financial communication. The awards were judged by a panel of 25 experts in the field, and presented by British business journalist Simon Jack from BBC Radio 4’s Today Programme.
Here is a bit more on the work we were awarded for and what the judges had to say about it:
Juventus was awarded the Gold trophy in the Best printed report: International/Unlisted category for its debut sustainability report – “Towards Sustainability in Football”. We worked together with the club throughout the whole 18-month process to ensure that the report stands out for its stakeholder-based approach and its ability to define a clear set of critical sustainability issues. The judges described the report as “outstanding” and a demonstration of “true innovation and leadership, and a rallying cry to clubs and businesses to make sport safe, healthy and fair.”
CSR and sustainability issues are complex and growing in importance, as more and more stakeholders look to a company’s sustainability agenda to answer their most pertinent questions. We have worked in this area for a number of years, supporting companies in a wide range of CSR activities. To find out more about our work in this area, click here.
Telecom Italia was awarded the Gold trophy in the best online report: international/unlisted category for our work in revamping the traditional report by creating an innovative and dynamic online report. The report was described by the judges as “forward looking” and a “very holistic entry, giving an insight on anything and everything beyond the numbers.”
As more and more users gravitate towards the web to find out information on companies, the need to evolve the static, printed report is imperative. We’ve been working in this area for over 10 years, and you can find out more about what we do here.
Edison bagged the Gold trophy for the best corporate website for our work, alongside our partner agency Liqid, in creating a website that would engage corporate and non-corporate stakeholders and reflect the company’s history and future as an energy pioneer. The judges described the new site as “a strong website with a clear structure and rich content” and described the company’s revitalised corporate hub as a “masterpiece of modern website engineering.”
A website is much more than just a portal of information. It is the company’s face online, and as such, needs to wear a number of hats to meet the demands of its users. We have recognized this need to innovate and evolve to meet these growing needs. To find out more about our work in this area, click here.
Joakim Lundquist, head of Lundquist, said:
“We have worked hard alongside Edison, Juventus and Telecom to create innovative and forward-looking communications and sustainability projects, and these wins are a great recognition for team work, dedication and a relentless focus on quality content and serving the user.
“We will continue to innovate and help steer companies in the right digital direction. Congratulations again to all the winners.”
