Recognising excellence in the field of digital communications – Webranking Awards 2017-2018

At our 16th European Seminar on Digital Corporate Communications we awarded the winners of this year’s Webranking Awards, rewarding those companies demonstrating excellence in their digital communications. This year, we awarded the winners of the Webranking 2017-2018 Italian Listed and Non-Listed research as well as the 2017-2018 Swiss Listed and Non-Listed research.

Switzerland Listed

This year, third place went to Sonova, who retained its spot on the podium the same as last year, increasing its score by 8.8 points. Last year’s winner Sika takes second place this year with 77.7 points. The winner of our 14th edition of Swiss listed companies is Swisscom with 79.2 points.

Switzerland Non-listed

For the first time this year, we also welcomed to the ceremony the winners of the Swiss non-listed research. In second place in the fourth edition of the Swiss non-listed research is Trafigura. The commodity tradings company has improved by an impressive 14.8 points, moving up 18 spots, and making it onto the podium for the first time.

Italy Non-listed

Anas makes an appearance for the first time on the podium, coming in 2nd place, tying with Sisal, who is also on the podium for the first time.  The winner of our fourth edition of Italian non-listed companies is Ferrovie dello Stato, up from third place last year.

Italy Listed

Terna is our best improver, having improved their score by an impressive 18.8 points, making it into fifth place. Gruppo Hera is our bronze winner, with 91.5 points. Eni takes to the podium for yet another year, coming in second.

Snam broke all Webranking records this year, achieving the highest score ever realised by a company in the ranking in 20 years. It is the winner of the Italian listed ranking for the second year running.
