Lundquist.trust Swiss edition results: Companies show commitment to inspiring trust, expectations remain high

Today we published the first edition of our new research “lundquist.trust – assessing communications for business” which measures the ability of companies to communicate effectively on corporate topics that matter, from leadership to sustainability, and generate trust with stakeholders. The first edition of .trust in Switzerland takes into account 35 of the most important non-listed companies in Switzerland.

.trust (pronounced “dot trust”) stems from 15 years of experience acquired by Lundquist in helping balance stakeholder and company needs through systematic engagement of corporate audiences internationally, from journalists to jobseekers and sustainability experts.

Who inspires trust?

Swiss Post (77.4 points), Coop (74.9 points), and SIX (68.8 points) round out the top three performers of the inaugural .trust evaluation of Switzerland’s major privately held, state-owned, and family-run companies.

Trust is developed through storytelling, and in Switzerland nobody did that better than CoopMigros and Swiss Post. Also standing out is the performance of Zürcher Kantonalbank and Liebherr which promote their business through engaging storylines and diverse narratives. Swiss companies may realise that storytelling is key to building trust, but those stories have to connect with their identity, their purpose, and their future.
